Sodium percarbonate is an excellent general purpose brewery cleaner. It is great for removing yeast and protein build up on stainless steel, plastic and glass.
Sodium percarbonate decomposes into oxygen, sodium carbonate and water which makes it safe for septic tanks.
Our recommended dosage is 3g per litre of hot water for cleaning. If you are cleaning beer lines in a kegerator or have a particularly soiled kettle, you may wish to use at a rate of up to 5g per litre.
For best results allow the cleaning solution to stand for at least 10 minutes before rinsing.
