Kohatu (NZ)

Developed by the New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research hop breeding program and released in 2011, Kohatu is a descendant of Hallertau Mittelfrüh.

It works well in single hop applications and is described as having intense fruit characteristics.

Specific aroma descriptors include fresh tropical fruit characters and an excellent finish and bitterness.
